30Oct05-Lower-9th-Tour

12 images Created 16 Apr 2015

Hurricane Katrina aftermath.
Riding on the Gray Line bus tour for residents of the Lower 9th ward. Unlike the nearby predominantly white neighbourhoods, residents can only visit the area on special busses and are not permitted to get off the bus except at one designated location to view a 'typical' house.

A few nasty refrigerators appear on the sidewalks.
