21 Sept 2005. New Orleans, Louisiana. Hurricane Katrina/Rita aftermath.
Baton Rouge Advocate photographer Rick Hannon photographs the Army Corps of engineers race against time to shore up weak levee defences at the 17th street canal in New Orleans in preparation for Hurricane Rita storm surge that could once again swamp the city.
